@xerz does musl make a system non-GNU? I'm not actually sure where the line is but I would assume it's about programs included rather than choice of libc. packing gnu tar for instance

hey, if anyone can figure out exactly what OpenSSL function X509_STORE_get1_certs does (undocumented apparently) I would very much appreciate it, understanding exactly what changed in wiiu update 5.5.5 hinges on that function

@phoenix I once had a samsung person tell me that for products more than 2 years old they won't honor GPL requestsit seems samsung is just generally bad with the whole "firmware updates and downloads for consumers" thing

Discord replacement Guilded lists "CSV injection" as out of scope for their security research policy and frankly I have so many questions, are they keeping their database in Excel or somethinghttps://support.guilded.gg/hc/en-us/articles/360053509693-Security

it would be cool if there was a standard for multichannel audio, but not for like 5.1 surround systems, instead with the intent of mixing the channels back together in the player, allowing for level adjustment and such

if all IoT devices are just going to run Linux anyway then it's a manufacturer's moral responsibility to take advantage of the numerous long-term support options Linux provides and allow for community support after EoL
