@amolith Don't do that! Learn at least all the letters in new layout first. In my case I felt exactly when it's time to switch. I used qwerty until the time came.

@amolith I researches that too. I read somewhere something like "First, test it without bindings. If it fail, create bindings." but ot dosn't fail in my case. I am perfectly ok with Dvorak and basic vim shortcuts :) I even forgot the qwerty ones. (Which is ok for me anyway.)

@amolith I don't think it make sense to switch `l` and `r` just because of `ls` commands, because you type ` -` or <enter> after `ls` anyway. Also, in my case, I hesistated with switching to Dvorak and I was patient, just because I didn't want to decrease my typing performance significantly. However, this is just my opinion! Keep your direction!

@nebunez I really hate "init commit". Check out https://chris.beams.io/posts/git-commit/ ;)

@jordan31 @nebunez I think that repo should be initialized with readme, license, and changelog. Therefore "Add changelog, license, readme" looks like a better option, imo.

@jordan31 @nebunez I can live with that answer. Anyway, there are two kinds of repo from my experience. (Usually, you can distinguish also by license.) The first is "use this peace of code if you understand what it is and why you should." The second is "want you to contribute to this idea which I thing is interesting." :)

@quad guess that interlink will be private IPv4 anyway? But two devices mean two power supplies. Surely it's not big deal, but doing it just to avoid configuration is kind of.. unfortunate, IMO :)

@selea Well, "we <3 open source" != "we use open source" != "we know what open source means"

@risturiz I was thinking about that but did not find a use-case, to be honest. The arguments against are (1) real-time notifications are unhealthy, and (2) mapping usually needs long-term effort.I do prefer specialization of daily-updated #RSS feeds, see https://qa.damn-project.org/rss/However, I am happy to discuss the #damn workflows that can benefit from the #activitypub -- do you have any in mind?

@risturiz There are some updates regarding https://lists.sr.ht/~qeef/damn-project/%3C9a4c43219d10c883ada08cf7c81194c0%40gusl.org%3EI have slightly updated the #damn area lifecycle, so now there is a three-days buffer for abandoned area to be finished:https://damn-project.org/#area-lifecycleI also updated list of RSS feeds with "abandoned areas":https://qa.damn-project.org/rss/Finally, I tried to find out how to set up #RSS to #Mastodon, but I failed. I tried https://feedsin.space/ with no success, and I do not want to post automated toots from this account.

@feld @amolith You are not. Wanna more? You may have multiple init commits (root, no parent hash) in a single repository.
