@ckeen I feel like the author avoided communicating with the community because of a (incorrect) notion that the OpenBSD crowd is abrasive / confrontational.I see a lot of people citing snippets from the ML and using it as justification for the aforementioned notion.. but they _always_ exclude the full context, which often spans multiple threads across months worth of mail.

@paulgatling lwjgl3 isn't compat with OpenBSD - so recent versions of MC don't work. I can't remember what the last version that worked was.. but it's very old.@kurtm is bravely working on updating the OpenBSD port of it!

@ParadeGrotesque You have to do a bit of a dance to get things to run off NVME - but overall I am pretty happy with it! Wifi and x11 both work, no audio though.

Anyone have any recommendations on a portable USB DAC that works with #OpenBSD? Eyeing a few FiiO things (m9 for example) - but i have little insight into the world of DACs!

@MatejLach This has been brought up quite often - the official reason is that it will add an unreasonable amount if size (i can't remember how much) to binaries - thus breaking the already constrained (intentionally) install media.

dear #plan9 fediverse, I seem to remember a screenshot from someone that was working on a fediverse client for 9. Anyone remember it? Was it for #9front?
