Saying "parents and doctors" should decide whether or not a trans kid can transition is JUST AS OFFENSIVE as saying "husbands and doctors" should decide whether or not a cis woman can have an abortion.It's also reminiscent of the whole "Autism Parents" thing, where the PARENTS of autistic kids are seen as the ones with the authority to decide how their child lives and is cared for— even given the moral right to try to "cure" their child's autism.FUCK ALL THAT NOISE.
