@mametsuko I'm not sure but I think a lot of authentic Japanese restaurants have that. https://yume.at calls it Bulgogi with rice, I think that's the same? http://www.restaurant-kosu.at also has Bulgogi Don on their lunch menu. Otherwise search for japanese restaurants vienna and look at the menus.

A year of distance learning and professors still don't have any decent audio equipment. Last 20 minutes of the first lecture have no sound at all. What a great quality of education!

@feli A few are, but they are in the minority sadly... most have no idea what they are doing and some even just straight up stopped offering their courses.

Stylus of my new laptop is acting up. Spent all of yesterday troubleshooting, think it might be a hardware issue. Going into a store today where there are compatible devices to test, if it works fine on those I'll have to submit a bug report to libinput. I have NO idea how to write drivers, but I might try to delve into the source code if no one can help me

Solved it by just throwing a small screw into the battery shaft so it is held more tightly lol. And I thought Wacom stood for quality...

Drawing 2/4 of my art projectFrom my first entry I learned I should not try to finish it in one sitting, but that lead to procrastination. I wanted to do shading but I have no idea where the light should be coming from here so I'm just gonna release it like this and move on to the next one.

@wistahe Not exactly, but occasionally I imagine the concept of absolute non-existence. Not just of myself but non-existence of every thing, particle, field, universe, multiverse, past, future, space... I find it a terrifying thought but am always immediately comforted by the fact that _something_ must exist. "I think therefore I am" is flawed because it might not be me, or what I would consider to be me, who is doing the thinking. But it does without a doubt prove the existence of _something_ and that is in some sense enough for me (to not go crazy on the spot). But I still want to know why anything exists at all, it is the biggest mystery to me.

@wistahe Regarding space: I think minds need complexity and information, and those need to be stored in some connected degrees of freedom, and connections between degrees of freedom is basically the same thing as (a kind of) space. So minds would need to be implemented with some kind of space (e.g. the RAM on computers) but they might not need an inner representation of that space (which computers would also have in the form of memory addresses, although a simulated brain would not be aware of those).Another important ingredient is an entropy gradient, needed to make the time dimension meaningfully distinct from spacial dimensions.Regarding physics from psychology: That is an interesting thought. If it turns out that minds need to live in a space with certain physical properties then that could have interesting implications. Personally I'm rather leaning towards the idea that minds are very adaptable things and could also exist in extremely exotic conditions, like maybe multiple time dimensions, with inner perceptions that we would never be able to emphathize with or understand, the same way we can't imagine new colors.
