       If a #dog’s love is a manifesto and a #cat’s affection is a haiku, what does that make a #crow that brings you shiny trinkets?#animal #musing #poetry

Current annoyance with the online world. Email FOMO subject lines like "last chance" "chosen specifically for you" "your unique code" "One time offer" "enhance your readiness" "recommended" "come back with 30% off"... etc...I can and do unsubscribe from many mailings, but there are some products and services I'm interested in.I just wish every info packet wasn't a "call to action" in the marketing parlance. I understand my privilege to be #peeved at this. I'm still annoyed at it. *Grump*

@erosdiscordia Appreciate the clarification, and yes, I was being over broad, because I'm not sure exactly what I'm asking, but I appreciate the willingness to engage. Definitely not being a butt hole. :-)Not all spaces, but ones specifically, perhaps not exclusively, coded "for" one gender."Smells like flowers" is actually an interesting if not terribly surprising observation. Having had historical access to one set of spaces, what really strikes you as different about the other?

Most divisive pizza option #poll.Note, it doesn't matter if you personally like or dislike any of these, just curious which you find to be the most contentious, divisive options when a group orders pizza.

Went to a train museum run by a historical society yesterday. It's not my obsession, but I love that other folks geek out so much on the details. The interest and enthusiasm is awesome. People digging on their topic.

I'll say it again, it's a bad idea to combine the data layer and the control plane. This isn't about any specific #LLM system, but is a decades old CompSci general design principal. This is why "smashing the stack" and "buffer overflows" worked! The attacker injects executable instructions to the control plane, in some form, via the input data the system is to operate on.Current LLM based agents intentionally allow this stuff in through the front door.Fundamental design flaw.#infosec

Playing monster chase with kid at the park. I'm amused and pleased with how many littles see me and ask if they can play too.I always have to be a bit cautious, being an older bearded male playing with kids, even my own. It's never been an issue, but I'm always aware of the optics. Apparently, I'm just a compelling lava monster the littles really like to power blast or freeze ray when we play.Part of my workout routineI also do a pretty good Sand People roar holding a stick above my head

There was a recent post I saw about recommendations for cleaning cat pee. Can't find it now. Nature's Miracle didn't seem to work as well as it used to. So what else do we like?

You can care about distant suffering while celebrating your friend's birthday. The joy in your life isn't tainted by coexisting with suffering elsewhere. The ethical move is acknowledging reality, while being selective about what you engage with. Choose where you can make a difference with time, money, or action. You are not a passive receptor for everyone's pain.Compartmentalization isn't a moral failing. It's a necessity that lets you remain functional for the people who depend on you.
