@itnewsbot Fun extra tidbit. I noticed it tended to telll my monitor it no longer knew what to make of the display in Game Mode. (I was sitting at my desk and thought, hey why not play on the bigger screen for a bit?). This is still possible if you want to in desktop mode. Extend your display. Fire up Battle.net, fire up diablo 4. Then settings, windowed mode limit frame rate to 40ish. Happy gaming. You can swap it back if you go handheld and boost performance a bit.

@itnewsbot Well for a car you just want something the “just works” so if it can mirror the handful of apps (music/podcasts/navigation/etc) and put an interface that is tap tap tap done without having to stop and hunt or drive distracted, it’s going to be more popular. Also AC/Heat/etc should be hard controls….not solely on a screen. Should be as easy as finding the window shield wipers.

@itnewsbot My proverbial 2 cents onthe problem, regardless of whether they are actually good and give a rat’s butt about trying to do a good job. It is likely going to be viewed by many in those communities close to scab workers are to strikers. Secondarily it’s already precident if you and your community want to take a stand in a meaningful way, reddit will shut you out and do whatever they want.

@itnewsbot It will likely lead to more rotation on subbed services and overall lower revenue to services. People will just float every month or two and binge what they missed then move on. I mean in all seriousness going back to regular tv, while cable gives you a chunk of “everything” it does miss streaming only and also tv seasons aren’t what they used to be. These days most seem to run 10-13, so beyond contracts, little actually warrants keeping a “sub.” It’s watch and go

@itnewsbot not really a surprise. They make a huge deal about iMessage for their customers as a perk for their stuff. A) they probably do consider it a security risk (even if they give props internally for someone figuring it out). B) they are going to protect their business strategy. C) they likely will rationalize the encryption/better message quality etc as they are implementing rcs.
