       I’ve realised that the main reason I don’t wear more of my home-sewn makes is because I hate ironing! Have got a meeting in town today so have pulled this Sew Over It pussybow blouse out of the wardrobe, to wear with black trousers.I made this a few years ago, when I was trying to get my #sewing skills up to a decent standard again, so it’s a bit basic, no pattern-matching etc. but I love the Frida’s Garden fabric and wearing it always puts me in a good mood! #MeMadeMay

       @misty hope you are OK, I’ve had my role made redundant a few times now and it’s always a shocking experience - I’ve always found it’s led onto better and more interesting things in the long run though, hope that it all works out for you

       I haven’t shared any photos of the blackwork embroidery project I’ve been working on this year (on and off) - this was a free pattern from The Steady Thread, with a different flower each week.        The Fine Sweater is finally complete! Great pattern by Yu Jie, based on the comic by KC Green. This is definitely the most complicated thing I’ve ever knitted, and I think it took me as long to embroider it and weave in the ends as it did to knit it, but I’m glad I did it. Not recommended for anyone who is a perfectionist, though.#knitting @knitting#knittersofmastadon
