…alright, i want to replace #MinIO. Is there a server that provides an #S3 frontend to locally-stored files? Bonus points for having a package in Debian.This is pretty much impossible to search for. 95% of everything assumes you're using a FAANG's S3 service, and MinIO appears to be much of the rest. I was sort of hoping that nginx could do this by itself, but there doesn't appear to be any such module.S3 is HTTP, right? It can't seriously be that hard to take PUT requests, write the file to the filesystem, take GET requests, and read it back. And surely #pronounscc doesn't need more than that.

I'm not a drone or anything[^1], so i don't have a number[^2], but if i did, it would be a UUID. You know, the things with a big enough possibilityspace that you can generate one with no coordination whatsoever and it will be unique among all UUIDs ever generated.
