The penny arcade in Manitou Springs, Colorado is amazing. A great mix of old and new stuff, and the old is all in great working order. The horse race game was really fun when a lot were playing!

Last night I tested my reverse engineered ImageWriter II/LQ LocalTalk Option card and it mostly worked after a lot of trial/error - turned out I needed to clone the NVSRAM from the original board. Way more testing still ahead especially around chip variants to make a cost reduced SMT version. #ImageScribbler

Thinking about the peel-apart #Polaroid film I have hoarded in the fridge again. It's been 10 years since the last batches of b&w film were made, and values on eBay just keep going up, almost $100/pack. I'm locked in a state where I'm afraid to shoot it but also don't want to let go and sell it.

@kevin Currently the landscape is not good. It's either buy expired film on eBay for a lot ($80 or more per pack), or get on the waitlist for Supersense's One Instant (https://supersense.com/oneinstant/) for even more than that. I'm using up the hoard I stocked up on when Fujifilm discontinued the film ~10 years ago.
