@ChadF yeah…rarely does anyone think of tracking as a “good thing.” Very few people enable tracking in podverse. That said, those who do make a bigger impact on our popularity rankings because of it.

🚨 ATTN PODVERSE LISTENERS 🚨There is a serious bug in v4.15.1 where your boost message will not be sent with your boost.The transaction will still be sent successfully, but the message you type will be missing.This will be fixed in v4.15.2. I'm shipping the update to prod this afternoon, but it takes 2-3 days for App Store and Google Play to publish a new version, and ~7 days for F-Droid to publish a new version.Sorry everyone for the trouble 😕Github issue: https://github.com/podverse/podverse-rn/issues/2100

@StevenB @agates @algrid @dave @dovydas we'd love to add XMPP integration into Podverse...and also read/write fediverse integration. Alas, all our core maintainers have a full plate of work to do, so I don't think we will get to it soon, unless more open source developers contribute to the project.

@spiritedpause @nixCraft thank you ❤️I’d just like to point out that Podverse uses an AGPLv3 license for everything, so anyone can modify and deploy our code. PocketCasts is a great product but they don’t open source their whole tech stack, so in practice you can contribute to their code base, but not deploy it yourself.

@star thanks for the feature request! I think we actually have a column for playlist description in our database, but we weren’t sure if anyone would use it so haven’t finished it yet. I’ll keep this in mind and try to get it out sometime in our next couple releases.

@PaulECarefully @stevewebb it’s difficult for us to say…could be an Alby problem, or could be a Fountain problem. Maybe a Podverse problem but if it’s specifically Fountain addresses that seems less likely, unless the addresses we are using for those episodes are out of date.

@Wyliesau it looks like the “Censor text” setting is on for your podverse. It uses a big open source list of words to obscure with * when enabled. Here is a screenshot of where it can be disabled. I’m pretty sure it is turned off by default on all fresh installs of Podverse. Maybe there was a version released a long time ago where it was on by default though. Hope that helps.
