@Hyolobrika Is that a thing? In my experience it's more "haha im on fedi and im trans/gay". Which is perfectly fine but not something I consider my business.

@adam Discord is standard.Matrix isn't even where users understand the chatroom to be, they create rooms in Element. The app right next to WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger and what not.It's too complex for noobs. Also, if you create a chat-room on Discord you can titulate yourself as a discord ADMINISTRATOR, and admins or even sysadmins are pretty important people on any site, right?Matrix sysadmins on the other hand lament the resource hog from Synape.

@dave Well, at least the de facto wealth gap between the poorest and riches in society will be much smaller. Poorer people will be able to pay off their fiat loans and own their stuff. Wages must be readjusted lest the workers starve and start looking towards literally eating the rich.As money slowly becomes meaningless, we will have to measure our value in more real things that imaginary numbers and rates manipulated by those who wants to grab it all for themselves.Yeah, I'm ready for a change.

#FairEmail on the Android seems like a possible replacement for #k-9, available on #F-Droid and all. Going to test it out for a while, if it doesn't work out and I don't find a decent FOSS Android client I'll just go all in and do #DeltaChat and Webmail.Rebranding K-9 as #Thunderbird...Another of my favorites, eaten by the big companies to boost their own lineup.
