Where's the "follows me" indicator gone?You know, when i click someones handle, view their profile - there used to be a "follows me" indicator.Is this instance-specific, admin configurable? …🧵 that was slightly more "exciting" than i hoped, testing the PSU after my "repair".I held it in my hand and plugged the mains in - bang, i saw a blue flash through the vents and heard a short buzz. I couldn't have heard more than a dozen sine waves, because the breaker tripped. I've yoiked the mains cable and threw the thing to the ground. 😅But hey, the music kept playing, because my whole desk (not the work/tinker bench) runs of off a UPS, which diligently did what it's supposed to do. 🤣👍

@verita84 Great, let's talk about how everyone prefers at least neutral software, that doesn't shove undesirable stuff down my eye-holes.I'd like to recommend that #VLC and #mpv make their Santa hat stuff OPT-IN, instead of reminding me of my unpleasant childhood, every single December.The mpv devs even ridicule their users, by naming the config variable "greenandgrumpy=yes". That's not peaceful behaviour from the Christians towards everyone else! It is typically #Christian, though! 😠

Is this a Yoda kind of situation?"..no, there is another!" 😅..i thought #Nextcloud was the only fork of OwnCloud! ..fascinating! 🖖Edit: i've just read the GitHub readme - i'd only get "essential features" in my bare-metal/VM use case - i need proper block storage for LUKS-crypto, and i'm not learning how to frickel Docker(/compose) to achieve that. I'll remain in my comfy zone - a fat Nextcloud VM, via libvirt+virt-manager/virsh. 🍻

@matthew i've begun my journey on the original OwnCloud, before they added "Infinite Scale". Then, the Nextcloud scheme of things were more agreeable, imho, so i've switched.I'm only running a single-user instance at home - it's got some quirks, but it's good-enough. Files, Calendar, Contacts - that's all i need.
