The only men I know who are actively doing the work of unlearning toxic masculinity, misogyny, homomisia, etc. and collecting other men in compassionate and accountable ways are *specifically* black men.Think on that ☆

I've been spoiled by POC-run online spaces that actually know how to center vulnerable people's needs.

Went to protest today that had hundreds of attendees. Really powerful. Lots of visibily disabled people, lots of queer people, lots of poc.The event coincided with a liberal org though so they combined efforts, which wound up having the white lead liberal org getting upset at the protestors and black bloc, and they started using their speech platform to convince the liberal crowd that the protestors and black bloc were "endangering their lives."

Again; it's quintessentially white to favour your own discomfort of being seen as a member of a racialized group that enacts racial violence and domination over the harm of racism to black and brown folks.
