"Games" sounds about right.WHN is a shady organization that lures in isolated, vulnerable covid-aware people—with the false promise of ending the pandemic—and uses them for their free labor. It falsely claims to have thousands of members, when in reality no more than a dozen or so actively participate in meetings. I spent about two months volunteering for this shady organization.They kicked me out—without warning, explanation, discussion or due process—after I called out the founder for suggesting that my family was at risk of catching covid in our car from infected people in other cars.WHN isn't the "grassroots" group it claims to be. @strypey @j12t Let's see some studies showing that the variants have become "much less virulent." You can't, because they don't exist. The false narrative that they're now "mild"—promoted by politicians and pundits, not scientists—began with the original Omicron wave. How many people did that wave of infections kill? 130,000 people over three months in the U.S. alone. Hardly mild. Hundreds are still dying every week, and you need to spreading harmful disinformation.

@futurebird Yes, the viruses that cause flu and covid are spread through the air when people speak, sing, sneeze, cough etc. Wearing a well-fitting N95 mask significantly reduces the chance of getting infected and infecting other people. A person does not need to feel sick or show symptoms in order to be infectious. This is called asymptomatic transmission and is very common. None of this is particularly complicated or confusing. @futurebird As for the vaccines, they don't do much to prevent infection or transmission. They only make it less likely you'll get seriously ill, hospitalized or die if you do get infected, and their effectiveness wears off after a few months. That's why it's so important to get regular booster shots. Once a year for flu, 2-3 times a year for covid.
