@foone I'm somewhat of a Pool of Urgh myself 😅 love the Twees. Cutified names are the best. Do you know ErfWorld? It's a tabletop wargaming themed webcomic that has cutified names for every unit. Like "Gwiffons" and "Spidews" and "Gobwins".

@foone Hello Foone, may I ask you for some advice regarding old Software? I recently traded my Home computer for an 8088 Luggable Amstrad PPC of 1987. Do you have any recommendations for OS and Software?CGA games are reasonably esay to find but development and work software is relatively rare. Originally it was shipped with DOS 3/4. thats what I'll be starting with I guess. Also I remember using a lot of Borland stuff in my youth.What do you think? Thank you and hopefully you are better now.

@foone I have a pretty good handle on Hardware upgrades. It gets a color LCD, CGA to VGA adapter, Gotek floppy emulator, and an picomem Isa HDD/EMM emulator. Floppy's are degrading fast now and are getting rare and expensive. Also a LI-ION Battery instead of 10 C-cells. Maybe an 8-Bit VGA card later. :-)Sadly the 1200 baud Modem has to go to make room for the ISA cards...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amstrad_PPC

@foone yay thanks so much. Yes there were 2 versions of Dos 4. The multitasking one that didn't get released and IBM Dos 4 which had the "graphic" shell for the first time. That one ran OK on my IBM PS/2 back then afair. Also I might try running windows 1 or 2 at some point. Or maybe PC GEOS but it's hard to find development resources on that.
