@thelinuxcast but it makes using window managers a little easier imagine creating scripts to control that stuff. :blobsweats:

@BrodieOnLinux how you deal with theming of apps on Wayland and the mixing of gtk and qt apps. I tried to mix them on sway and failed miserably so just sticking with gtk stuff.

@BrodieOnLinux Dinosaurs created unix and that is why they didn't liked long name commands because it took so much time to type.

@BrodieOnLinux I am more worried about Linux 19.19 because they don't like big numbers :psyduck:

@BrodieOnLinux I can understand that as I started watching it when Season 1 was released and after all of that that I saw, the ending was well... same here don't want to talk about it. I started watching 86 after reading Aot ending in manga and I am assuming Aot anime wasn't much different either way. If you want a fun anime then RobiHachi seems like a good one.

@BrodieOnLinux What WM you are using, from your videos, I saw few elements that looked like things from Awesome WM. And don't take it the wrong way, I am just asking and I am not against Wayland in any way.

@BrodieOnLinux It's the exact same reason as usual, some don't care about how important security is for them but I can understand that regular users are like that but seriously just use anything other than some EOL OS and security is important whether anyone like that or not won't change the importance of it.

@BrodieOnLinux That "Linux is not easy" when in reality its just that some were first introduced to computers with Windows and a lot are used to it. I had just barely used Windows in high school and even then it was just application opened but didn't interacted with it much not even installed a thing. My first proper OS interaction was android 5.1 and got used to it and then I got my first windows 10 laptop and I was like "wait, what is this place"

@BrodieOnLinux I got it once on Windows 10 after waking the laptop from sleep mode and definitely "windows just works™"

@BrodieOnLinux I saw some comments saying "older GPUs doesn't have vulkan support and linux needs vulkan support to run games" which I get, they might not know. So, let me tell you, yes anyone can run a older gpu for playing games in steam without vulkan in linux and use openGL instead by adding "PROTON_USE_WINED3D %command%" in launch options in steam. And I know its "command stuff" but then again they are doing a lot of things to just use win7.

@Codeberg I am just starting out with foss and git. I have decided to learn more about how to manage a repo, contribution to another project and understanding how to handle merge requests and things like that. Also the codeberg docs helped me a lot to get started and I am probably going to rely on them in future as well. Anyway, I wish you all the best :)
