@lradcliff that's the javascripty sort, i can search transcriptions easier locally. I mean no disrespect to whoever built nasearch, of course.I was mostly trying to remind myself to find out if the transcripts are hosted anywhere in bulk. If not, it's easier for me to generate my own transcripts than try to rip them from a website somewhere one at a time

@jazzilla I am unsure of what you mean, probably because i didn't get enough sleep last night.I'll be charitable as i can and answer that it's not just a lie, it's an oversimplification of facts and culture that leads to this. AFAIK they don't test history and the like on the standardized tests they give schoolchildren every year (which is stupid and has always annoyed me.) So history (and other such "social" "studies" are reduced to sound bites and marginalia.

@ThewTheKooky you know the hyperactive white dude that makes 'old recipes"? I've tried four, and all four failed. I think he leaves something out in the short videos that are in the cookbook he's selling. I unsubscribed, because at first i was like, oh, interesting, substitutes for highly processed garbage; but now, i don't trust anything he says.One of the recipes was for cool whip and a box of strawberry cake mix to make cookies. I had to throw the cookie sheet away that i used. Awful mess

The subtitles are good so you can mute the video, they don't play any sounds from the original i think.It was filmed after Dec 2022, and released 3 months ago about Bangladesh.
