TIL about dynamic DNS (DDNS)https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc2136This provides a standard API to dynamically update DNS records.That's particularly handy to update the TXT and SRV records. Quite a few integrations already exist. For instance for prosody: https://modules.prosody.im/mod_dnsupdateOn the server side, it's natively supported by knot. Nsd does not support that natively, but you can use an external daemon (dyndnsd) to expose the DDNS api and update the text zone files.

Good news, everybody: the stickers I ordered for last weekend's Guix+Nix @ capitole du libre event just arrived. And they're mostly defective š(To be fully transparent, I complained to stickergreen, the printing service I used. They acknowledged the manufacturing issue and offered to print them again free of charge)

@luj The shop thinks re-printing the flake will yield to a similar result. Too much edges.I'm gonna print the GuixOS one. I'll have it for FOSDEM :)(Maybe add Lix to the mix? :P)

Just bought two new USB drives: I couldn't find any.Every time I need to install a new pet system, I'm looking for a USB drive, cannot find any. I then jump through a bunch of hoops to set up a pixiecore server and netboot a NixOS installer.Then, I buy a USB drive I'll never use and proceed to lose (or get stolen) in the next geek event.Maybe, all this time, the solution was just to keep the pixiecore dance somewhere in my ~/.local/bin instead of buying some more e-waste.
