Bit of a mess around with the new dishwasher we've been waiting a month to arrive. They called us a few days ago saying there was a problem with the shipment and that the model was discontinued (info that would've been useful a month ago) so we had to pick a different one. Luckily there was one we liked in stock with next day delivery. So today my plan is to properly waterproof the area under the sink and install this new dishwasher that just arrived!

2025 for me has been a year of transitions, moving house, settling in, renovations. It has been a year of completions, of endings, a multi-year project at work being released into the wild, my band effectively wrapping things up after nearly 2 decades. It has been a year of perseverance, through the general turbulence of life, my daughter making it through grade 1. I am looking forward to 2026 actually. I have a feeling it will be a year of new beginnings and change, newfound hope and courage. Happy end of 2025 Dear Friends! We made it, through thick and thin. Here's to better days next year.
