@stux It is indeed a lovely thing. I have had an x-clacks-overhead header on just about everything since Pterry passed away, I've even persuaded Azure CDN to add one with a custom rule! For the curious there is a listing bot: https://xclacksoverhead.org/listing/the-signal too

@ParadeGrotesque that sounds like a really useful lateral movement tool for the bad people in your system(s).I'd ask who is responsible for the operational security of each server and delegate the access controls, up to and including removing remote access via LDAP...

@strypey @lightweight Hot take: much like startups, 99% of FOSS is junk and dies away...? Closed source software is just as bad but has vendor lock-in to grift it along 🙃 Then again: https://xkcd.com/2347/Slightly more seriously, as @vik notes, some FOSS survives for a very long time, possibly as sufficient people care about it?
