@simon jq makes me craaaaaaaaaaaazy EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.I end up doing "operation | jq '.' | grepitty grep grep foobecause I don't grok jq… still… after all this time. 😭

I hope this is a simple question to answer.I use aws cli to get a json dump describing all EC2 instancesHow do you get only one of a thing when there are multiples?For tags, I'm trying to only get the value of the "Name" tag.I put it in a gist https://gist.github.com/akulbe/077b455669286819822101383b9ad2d8cat jsonfile | jq '.Reservations[].Instances[] | { Name: .Tags, Image: .ImageId, Instance: .InstanceId, IP: .PrivateIpAddress, Platform: .PlatformDetails }'
