@KimPeralesIf the GOP wins the White House and congress, the next version of the game Fallout will be canceled, because we’ll be living in it. The ocean is already absorbing the heat energy of many atomic bombs per day. We won’t need a nuclear catastrophe to end humanity. Extreme temperatures, drought and famine will wipe most of us out, all except the billionaires, who will go underground in their fallout shelters.

@futurebird I’m done with twitter, Facebook, Threads. I left FB after the 2016 election. Twitter after Musk. Reddit after they drove 3rd party clients off the platform. Any others I should cross off my list?

@historyofpunkrock The NY Dolls provided a lot of inspiration for other early punk bands. I was listening to the Fresh Air podcast recently, and the NY Dolls sound reminded me of the Sex Pistols, which came later.

@historyofpunkrock saw them in Cotati with the Blasters. What a great show they put on that night. I can’t seem to find any history about that show. I think it had to have been in 1980. I did find one mention of a 192 Cotati show here:https://www.instagram.com/dead_kennedys_scrapbook/p/COAio8hDgag/Pretty sure the show I went to was in 1980.
