@ParadeGrotesque @richard4444 Remember that vscode is encroaching all the GNU/Linux computers day by day. We don't have a complete #freesoftware alternative. I suggest people #kate from #kde or #atom but only kate is packaged. Yes people suggest codium but its just depending on upstream evil 👿

@sullybiker Always trust #Debian stable and make efforts or atleast keep helping the debian developers to support/port the #package/update to mainline Debian instead of just using the alternative repo route. I am happy we have #matrix #synapse as well as #nheko client on mainline Debian. Ruby and nodejs packages will hardly have a chance here. In #Fediverse world #pleroma only stands the chance of getting packaged the last time I saw.

@vik @strypey I remember asking for Diaspora profile import feature after we all exported our JD profiles. They said that it will be soon, later I was told not to repeatedly ask. I told that I will ask next year which I did and I was told that it was pointless and I should wait till next release which has no fixed timeline/date. I guess #Diaspora as the first famous project of #Fediverse has reached end of life. 😒
