@stux thing is most cities weren’t actually built around cars because when they were built long before cars were a thing and crudely adapted to fit the car. We often forget this in our car obsessed and dependent society. Bring cities back to how they were intended

@stux I bet if he'd spent his time reading Ulysses or some other so called "classic" he'd have been celebrated for it live on TV. Some hobbies are doomed to forever be victims of stereotypes. Not all people who play video games are socially awkward basement dwellers who never go outside. I mean, I am one but I am not representative of everyone who plays video games.

As the decision to require PSN login for #Helldivers2 is reversed, just a reminder that it is not weakness to change one’s mind if one feels that they were wrong. I have enormous respect for anyone who has the strength to admit to being wrong and take steps to right that wrong. I still think the reaction was ridiculously overblown though but it’s the internet where overreaction is the order of the day. I hate language like “backtracked” or “backed down” because it carries the suggestion that changing one’s mind is weakness when it is actually a sign of strength. If you ever feel like you were wrong about something after receiving more information that shows you were wrong and subsequently change your mind, do not let anyone make you feel weak. It is those who dig in and stubbornly ignore all evidence to their position who are the weak ones.

#Apple's password app is a win for the majority of users for whom full featured clients like #1Password and #Bitwarden are overkill. Most people just need a secure place to store unique passwords for each service that integrates with the devices they use, anything more is wasted on them. I include myself in that. @ChrisWere yep. That vote to seat share is a joke. As much as I dislike Reform, substantially fewer seats than the Lib Dems on a higher share of the vote, and the same seats as the Greens on a higher share of the vote is not representative. Sadly I don’t expect a Labour government who won 60%+ of the seats on 34% seats d the votes to even care.

@ChrisWere The base iPad is manageable at 10 inches (mini is 8) but the Air and Pro are too big and honestly too powerful for 99% of people (M chips are overkill in a tablet).
