Lead developer (cookiengineer) from the #audacity fork (#tenacity) got attacked with a knife at their place of residential, after several others showed up at their door to create fear. No life threatening physical injury happened.This happened after they got harassed and doxxed via #4chan. They report that the for #sneedacity took part in this harassment campaign. How can I copy parts of a post with @Tusky ?What ever I try, it seems to only be capable of either copying everything, or just one link. But what if I just want to make a quick search of an author that got mentioned, or whatever. Currently I copy everything, open then another app, paste it into, and then copy the parts I'd like to safe elsewhere.

I'm an absolute fanatic. Beyond all evidence, I believe humans have the power to get along with each other. I really do, even if I don't have any rationale explanation for it and reality keeps proofing me wrong. Well, abolish this reality then.

@sean what I always wanted to do, but never found enough time and concentration: Very short indy games that are meant to teach something. Each game a specific thing. It doesn't need be something complicated, but something many could need more awareness about. But I know kind of nothing about software development. If I know as much as you about it, I probably have reached my goal.

@kev some application are easier to run on windows, others are easier to run on linux. At a time I was sort of depending on applications that were easy to run on windows but not on linux, I'd either run them in vm or had dual boot. For connecting my phone with my laptop I used KDE-connect. I could not find a solution for windows that worked that well and easy at that time. Under linux you just go to your packet manager and choose install.

I want to use android via laptop. I want to boot #android from an USB with persistence encrypted storage. I want an android version, without all that #google tracking. How do I do that? @wim_v12e @stragu Personally I started to adapt my computer habits to the climatecrisis by remaining offline lots of times. Also sharing content offline with others, instead of everyone downloading the same over and over again. I also don't listen to music in the browser, except one time when I download it initially. And using books instead of watching the newest netflix series.
