Just saw that today #WorldSuicidePreventionDay and #AppleEvent are trending.One way to prevent suicides is to stop buying #Apple products manufactured by #Foxconn.Get a #Fairphone instead. Or how about no new phone this year at all? Just use your old phone as long as you can. Even the fairest technology is made with blood, sweat and tears.

@Gina Small things like that can really make a big difference - in both ways. We should all try to be more aware of the little things we do.Sometimes on a bad day all I need to be happy again is to hear someone use the correct pronouns for me for the first time.Also someone recently told me I made their day just because I used an unusual gender-neutral word in an oline post.

I just made a 1000€ #donation to #Framasoft.They offer #FreeSoftware solutions without #SurveillanceCapitalism for just about everything.Since the #SocialDistancing started I made two videocalls with their #Jitsi instance and that saved me from feeling completely isolated. Unfortunately free telecommunication services are completely overloaded atm, but that's why it's so important to #DonateToFreeSoftware projects, especially right now.Thanks @Framasoft ❤️

Someone gave me a great tip today on how to manage my #depression: I should set myself some very minimal goals and achieve them every day and do so mindfully.So one thing I'll try to do every day now for the foreseeable future is formulate one positive thought every day.I'll use this account to post that thought and keep posting my negative thoughts at @PaulaForFuture.I'm usually posting in German there, but I can switch if someone eants to read that stuff in English.

@fruechtchen @switchingsoftware @resist1984 From a privacy and climate standpoint I can recommend downloading videos illegally.1. By not paying you are not supporting capitalism, the root of all evil.2. f you download, you only download the video once, but can watch it many times. If you stream, you download the video every time you watch it. More data traffic -> more CO2.3. If you download it nobody can track how often you watch which video, so they can't profile and manipulate you.
