       @stux You’re so right and thanks for posting this reminder. Please encourage followers to ask their OB/GYN to describe their and hospitals’ standard delivery services in advance of childbirth (or to ask their doctor in advance of any scheduled procedure, not just childbirth) and use https://www.fairhealthconsumer.org to estimate reasonable costs. Find out what procedure costs can be waived or what procedures can be declined, and whether instructions can be documented on a directive in advance. Caveat: I am not a doctor, insurance professional, or any sort of expert in matters like this, just a fellow consumer.
