@atomicpoet @icecubesapp @ivory so would you rather an app be more like a jack of all trades? Or is it the branding that you're unhappy with? Do you think it's possible for an app to be created for all major Fediverse platforms at once? I mean the Tapbots guys made 1 app for 12 years for 1 platform. It was an amazing app yes, but I think what you're asking for isn't possible unless you just want them to make a web browser. Now THAT would be cool

@sasha_strange The problem is that extending the character limit is a hack and not officially supported. Which means it could easily break if you update. What we really need is a fully supported #featurerequest in mastodon itself. I can easily imagine options in Preferences to set the limit.

Peaceful #morning to everyone! I came accross this picture this morning from #NASA. Some people look at the #stars and they feel small. I look at the stars and feel #magical. We came from them. Stars and gas produced walking, talking, thinking, and living creatures. If you had been there at the start of everything, when it was just gas, would you have thought it was possible? Everything comes from nothing. It's a reminder that you are a #miracle. You are the universe talking back to itself.

I went through all of my #followers and I followed everyone back I might have missed. There were just a few I hadn't seen yet.As people move to smaller or even single person instances, it will become more important to follow people back and to interact as much as possible due to federation. It needs interaction for instances to see each other. If you can, please follow everyone who follows you.Then put people into #lists so it's still digestible and manageable.#follow #feditips

@christopher @TheTraveler As far as I know that isn't possible right now unless there is an app out there that has manually created it. There are apps that will do 1 hashtag at a time in a list you can keep going back to, but not combine hashtags into 1 list.
