       @Nonilex Due Process does not mean you receive the same type of hearing as a criminal defendant. It means that you receive notice, a hearing before a neutral hearing officer, an opportunity to be represented by a lawyer, a record of proceedings, and an opportunity for an appeal. That can be very simple. It can occur in an office. It can take less than an hour. It’s the minimum that people are entitled to, and they are not receiving it.

       @Nonilex What could possibly go wrong with the US trying to run Gaza on behalf of Israel? These are the same incompetent people who think libraries and parks are a waste of money, but who want to send US troops into Mexico to fight drug cartels. My government is a clown car.        #pnw #northcascades #hiking Hiked the East Shore Trail on Baker Lake, WA, today, to Noisy Creek. Great spring weather. Lots of snow melt. Streams are not dramatic features like a mountain, but have a sublime beauty.

       @Nonilex this reminds me of watching the 1968 Chicago police riots on TV, and a couple scenes remind me of watching the evacuation of the ghetto in Schindler‘s List. Ironically, the ice recruitment ads said these people would be protecting our “culture“. They have no shame.
