@DoomsdaysCW @RadicalAnthro Can I point out that this is nothing new. It's long been known that certain trees deliberately produce fruit, that when ripe and fallen from the tree is basically booze in a fruit skin. Basically because monkeys and I suppose primates will consume them and then spread the seeds.

@actuallyautistic As shelves in the US begin to empty faster than leaves dropping off a tree in autumn. Can I please remind people that it's not the big stores, who have been price gouging you for an eternity, that need what support you can give. But the little shops and businesses. @hosford42 I'm just wondering if it is allergy based. If it was viral, or bacterial, I'm pretty sure the medicine you've already been on would have sorted it. COPD, or similar, produces a shit ton of phlegm. You might have trouble digging some of it out, but mostly not. Whilst allergy phlegm is often somewhat less, but harder to shift. It's something that you can develop at any point in your life and is definitely stress related in terms of how it flares up and is made worse. Try taking a couple of over the counter anti-histamines (double dose, I know, but it's perfectly safe) a day and seeing what happens. Sorry for the intrusion. But, as a life-long chronic asthmatic and now COPD sufferer, you might say I'm a bit of an expert on coughs and yours has been making me think.

I was just stood on my balcony. I clearly middle-aged female voice is ringing out from two houses down, in clear jubilation. Given that she screamed, "at eighty minutes, yes". I'm going to go in response to England women playing football, rather than the other, possible reason. If only because of the unreasonable time requirement. 🤔

@autistics This caught my attention. I don't know how accurate these figures are. Not without access to the original research to assess it. But if these are in any way close, then bloody hell. I've always been of the opinion that the majority of adults weren't diagnosed in one way or another. But these sorts of figures were surprising. @futurebird @autistics I couldn't agree more. I'm in my sixties now and the chances of things changing for the better for my generation is limited, to say the least. But, what I hope is if this does lead to a better understand of just how many of us there have always been and of our needs as we age, then it is the generations behind me that will benefit from it. It would also be nice to think that it would offset the whole, it's an epidemic let's find a cure, brigade. But, I think we both know, that's a political gambit to shape hate and distract from the real problems, whilst gathering power.
