@EC_OSPO Maybe setting up the ceremony on #OpenSource platforms like Jitsi/BigBlueButton and streaming it with @peertube live would have sent out a much better message ;-)

Dear @EU_Commission I do understand that "Something has to be done" ™️ but not having found any definition in terms of size of an "information society service" it seems to me that the @Mastodon @peertube #Matrix #Friendica and many other services I'm providing for free to a small audience which prefers #OpenSource, #GDPR compliant and #Privacy friendly services will fall into that category and being unable to scan all interactions I'll have to shut them down.#EUvsChildSexualAbuse #CSAM

@rresoli Vorrei farti notare che l'articolo da cui hai estratto il commento è del 2018. Il protocollo era giovine, l'E2EE non era ancora stata implementata come standard ed il client non era ancora ad un livello di usabilità che lo rendeva accessibile a tutti (mia madre lo usa senza problemi).Può non soddisfare tutti ma almeno può soddisfare molti use cases pricipalmente rimpiazzare WA, Messenger, Slack e similari. @valhalla @Shamar @paoloredaelli @misterti @monitorapa @opavlos

@Shamar Il problema con i bridge è che non si può fare mantenendo l'E2EE e quindi ci sarebbe un problema di confidenzialità dei messaggi. La cosa bella di matrix è che neanche io, come admin del server, posso decrittografare i messaggi in quanto le chiavi sono solo sui vostri device. @rresoli @valhalla @paoloredaelli @misterti @monitorapa @opavlos

@valere As @Edent says there is no other option but to install uBlock and use browsers in private/incognito mode for sites that use trackers.A Pi-Hole helps a lot as well.

@mmu_man I can better that with the time, LibreOffice Conference in 2018 if I'm not mistaken, when a Microsoft representative couldn't connect her laptop to the projector so she ended up doing her presentation on my Linux laptop with @libreoffice :-) @bortzmeyer @jdll

Hi @bfdi please to use the hashtag #OpenSource when you talk about it so that also others can follow and learn more about tools that could help them in participating to the achievement of #DigitalSovereignty. It would be also great to tell SMEs that they can benefit from the Phoenix Project achievements by self hosting @univention UCS which includes roughly the same features. @EDPS
