@meowski using sudo, software center worked to upgrade me from 35 to 37 so I am no longer deprecated. Still dnf and yum do not find updates but they fetch repos and download them correctly.

Was checking out to see if infosec.exchange was going to be a good fit for me to migrate to but it seems that they are very defederation happy. Banning milkers.cafe for "An instance dedicated to bots that autopost animated/anime porn. Pretty massive draw on resources at best. @icedquinn yeah... I like all the hackers who are cool and do shit, but most hackers I respect realize that silencing voices is not the way to go. If instead of suspending instances they just set it so they dont default show posts from certain instances I would be somewhat okay with it.I dont want to join a "free speech" center server because they can deteriorate into a server where they compete to shout nigger the most. @lamp @icedquinn doesn't the server just get posts from accounts that have been followed by people from their instance? So unless a user is "malicious" and follows every porn bot it shouldn't matter

@lamp @benis I am not going to be able to convince some admin to reconsider moving 70+ servers from Suspended to Limited. They don't care and they got enough IT sec people to play with on their instance that they're the main place to go....I am in the process of applying to berserker.town since you guys have no blocks, few users, local ish hosting near/in scandinavia and you seem comfy
