@gamingonlinux I should find the analysis on YouTube on how this RTX demo destroys the intentional graphical decisions made by the dev team.The RTX demo being based on the DX8 version of Protal is... something 😆 Lets see the completed release. @JF @PINE64 there's nothing you can do to improve significantly the performance I'm afraid. The JDK is too strong with JetBrains products 😄 Not sure if it's the available RAM or just the cores in the RK3399 can't keep up.But that intelisense... Maybe rk3588 devices are powerful enough to let CLion to run smoothly?

@JF @PINE64 that's awesome! Last time I've used CLion in the PBP a couple of years ago, the bundled JDK 8 was crashing (aarch64 specific issue...). That alone required forcing Clion to use JDK 11 or 13 to run at all before setting any of the tools.Looks like JetBrains have gone a very long way to support aarch64 Linux for the past two years! Will give it a shot this afternoon 😄

@killyourfm @kde favourite quirk - Baloo can grind a system to a halt if you forget to mark a directory to be ignored from indexing (especially if that dir is filled with lots of small files)

@killyourfm @thunderbird I miss Inbox... 😑 By far it did the best job of keeping me away from the email inbox with everything done efficiently (of course it had to be killed). The ToDo management flow it encouraged was something else.And yes, it wasn't for everybody nor did it comply with already hardened workflows. Yet it still worked brilliantly

@piggo @lupyuen it's weird, do media outlets have collective amnesia when it comes to Samsung?That purple/ pink line is staple on their OLEDs. I vividly remember Galaxy S9 devices developing this hardware fault about 1-2 years in their lifecycle. I'm sure it's easy to find evidence for earlier models as well. What is hard to find - Samsung taking proper ownership of the issue or scrutiny. Same as Apple.
