@cattailnu I never understood the use case for the high-end Chromebooks. The lower-end ones? Sure. Great for giving kids / the elderly because you can wipe them quickly. But the super-expensive ones? It's like flinging money into the fireplace.

@cattailnu My code isn't that fancy I'm afraid (and I'm not that advanced in JS) Basically every glyph has its own Z-index but they are absolutely positioned which (as far as I know) takes them out of the DOM so I can't put them "on" the canvas for export. But again it's my limited knowledge at play there. I'll look at what you have set up to see if I can use the same principles, cheers! :D

Hah! Making progress on having the #Sigils being created by my #Karnian sigil generator be easily downloadable. Though I didn't go down the road suggested by @cattailnu (I ended up leaning on sone JQuery canvas capturing functions), I do appreciate the motivation they provided to try and get that working. Now I want to do a few things before I release this upgrade: 1 - See if I can achieve a transparent background; 2 - See if I can offer SVGs as a downloadable option as well.

@enigmatico Retro equipment is so LARGE. I see all the Youtubers with dozens upon dozens of machines and gadgets and I always wonder what happens to them when the video is over. Are they stored in a storage locker? Put back in boxes? On display in a personal museum? Sold off to fund the next purchase? I'm so curious about that sort of thing.

@enigmatico The amount of malware that gets served up through ads is no joke. And if you get hit with explicit ads that have illegal content the minute that hits your computer you could be on the hook for possession of it. There is no shame at all in using ad blockers, and even legitimate ad services have been known to get compromised as well.
