       @Radical_EgoCom As a precariat who worked for 14 years before being overwhelmed by my disability, I was able to accumulate about $30k in value in the capitalist system. I have a half acre and a single-wide trailer. About what a peasant would have had under monarchy. I really have nothing to lose but my chains at this point. Hope the working class realizes their fate is entwined with mine at some point, preferably before austerity comes.

       @Radical_EgoCom I guess I don't understand civics well enough. It always seemed silly/redundant to me under parliamentary systems to have a head of state and government, but I guess there is a real distinction because so many societies maintain it even after monarchy. I do acknowledge the rule by proletariat is preferable to rule by bourgeoisie, I just wish there was a non-violent solution for the workers to own everything. Kind of naive of me.

       @Radical_EgoCom One thing I don't understand, is the end goal of communism a moneyless society? Is the end goal total democracy where working committees have full control over their workplaces? Is the end goal a borderless world where workers can travel anywhere? I just wish there was a FF button on human development so I can see what we look like post-scarcity when everything is automated. I feel like our nature won't be so rivalrous given enough development.

       @Radical_EgoCom And I don't understand this, because people like Peter Thiel and some of the higher ranking members of Google seem to be materially supporting these movements. How can an organization claim out of one side of its mouth that it's pushing for a more diverse future while advancing the causes of the most regressive movements since 1940?

       @Radical_EgoCom I am 100% a fan of post-scarcity economics and I think it will have a strongly communist flavor because you'll always need collaboration and centralized decision making, which hopefully takes on a democratic flavor. I think the trouble is the precariat has grown faster than the proletariat and nothing happens spontaneously. If you want working people revolting, it takes education, intentional organization and the improvement of their material conditions/power.

       @Radical_EgoCom When she was first running, I wondered if she might actually be a leftist waitress, but knowing nothing is as it seems in this country I figured she was someone's well connected cousin. *Shrug*. It didn't take long for her cover to be blown. But between her and Bernie it makes things easier for me. Now I know never trust a democrat.

       @hn50 why is there no open source merchant solutions? Seems like the first thing you'd want to pry from the hands of the establishment to me.
