@charliebrownau @Kyonko802 I installed Windows 11 IoT the other day and I'll give my review a couple months in and see if there's any major annoyances. Right now i haven't figured out how to remove the active windows watermark which is annoying.

@PurpCat @naneko @smugumin @Iffine @Kyonko802 the problem is people closing the lids of their laptop instead of turning it off properly. It only goes to sleep when they do that. That's why microsoft wants to force restarts so badly, people would never turn off their computer otherwise.

@PurpCat @smugumin @Kyonko802 this is dumb because they're just selling the software. The walmart chromebook is going to have the same intel celeron as your 10+ year old windows netbook. The reason why your windows netbook got slow suddenly was because of windows 10 updates making it unoptimized. If got your techie nephew to install noobuntu on it then it would save you from buying a whole new computer.

@charliebrownau @Kyonko802 i use void on an old netbook and windows on my main pc. Reason for the choice of the former is it being near maximally lightweight, and the reason for the latter choice is graphics drivers
