In v0.7.1 added a bugfix affecting the path of the SSL certificate used for the joinmarket-api.If updating from the menu there will be the latest version pulled and our sweet CI is already building the up-to-date image for the new standalone installs: https://github.com/openoms/joininbox/actions/workflows/arm64-rpi-image-build.yml

@stevenroose Yes, came to the same conclusions. The top 30 nodes attacking would lose out the most and the double spend attack is also thought of even in the BOLTs. Then the mitigations are well - feel like people working on ETH wrote it.

Another bad day on Tor today: http://status.torproject.orgNeed to consider the alternatives for any serious lightning routing node.Use VPN tunnels for clearnet access without advertising the physical location network-wide.Will need a VPS or @TunnelSats:https://www.lightningnode.info/privacy/networking

This is gentlemen @SimpleBtcWallet continued! ---RT @andrenevesOBW has TOR connectivity built in, full LNURL support, HWI interface for hardware wallets/zpubs, RBF & CPFP in order to boost transactions, as well as coin control & utxo management. But more interestingly, it has native support for Hosted Channels ⚡ https://github.com/nbd-wtf/obw https://twitter.com/andreneves/status/1583079049223512065

If this data sharing and aggregation by Amboss gets widespread and accurate we'll have a huge problem with Lightning privacy.Good it is open-source, let's make it not possible to share more than 2 bits of data. @ambosstech I know you want the best, do not even accept more. ---RT @ambosstechWe've also given node operators the ability to share and analyze their node status, including channel balances. Some mitigations for now:can't really tell if someone is sharing privately, still:* don't peer with sharing nodes* avoid paying through sharing nodes* look out for CLN peers who can't run Thunderhub* feed it random data if anything* use aggressive MPP and longer routes

Don't make data sharing the norm because probing is already possible.Rather make probing more difficult, expensive and inconclusive.Improve payment reliability by implementing #PickhardtPayments and share known good hops in #BlindedPaths with or without using #BOLT12.

Discuss more on https://stacker.news/items/85877 with Tony and @lnproxy and again please @ambosstech don't become evil, by making it so you can't. Were you not vocal about 1ml keeping a long list of IPaddress and alias history of all nodes? Well this is way worse.
