@MountainJay This is probably something that is fairly common, objects passing through our solar system, but we've only recently developed the means of spotting them. Just the other day I saw an article about an asteroid that has been discovered "following" the earth in its orbit around the sun. It's estimated to have started doing that 60 years ago, but we've only now noticed it there.
