@eniko over here the ibuprofen seems to normally come in 400mg per pill though. I wonder if there is some policy difference on dose per pill - ibuprofen considered more dangerous in your timezone?

@foone how wasteful with those sti/cli, even if they didn’t use only one instruction x86 automatically prevents interrupts for one instruction after changing stack…

@foone although widely believed to have been released by Intel in 1985, new research indicates the 386 co-evolved with archaic humans in the Middle to Late Pleistocene.

@foone seems like the indirect far call goes via memory anyway, so not sure push/retf is all that wrong actually. Cursed, but that’s x86 for you.

@futurebird quite soft pressure here, more like encouraging finding ways to do ā€more with less+AIā€ to save money or something. Don’t really see the logic, but whatever. Plus some reasonable policies about not giving secrets to public AIs.But since work is a mostly-Microsoft shop, there’s an endless onslaught of Copilots to fend off (having uninstalled 5 and counting…) requiring constant upkeep just to NOT use it.

@foone isn’t SCSI your cat? Impressive that you taught it commands but is it wise to give a cat the means to ignite thermite?
