@grammargirl I'm waiting for someone to ask them how much they're paying the AI if it's sentient and so they can't control it.

Sigh. I'm so tired of abortion access being purely in terms of "what about rape victims". A person shouldn't need to be raped to have the ability to make choices about their own bodySimilarly a person shouldn't have to be in a "or they will die" position before they get to make choices about their bodySomeone shouldn't lose the right to make choices about their body once they become "old enough to have a baby"Fuck anyone who thinks they get to make choices about anyone else's body for them

A large amount of the worlds code is written in C, and gating platform safety and security on "rewrite everything in a new language" is simply not practical. As part of our work to harden existing codebases, here is bounds checked C in clang: https://discourse.llvm.org/t/rfc-enforcing-bounds-safety-in-c-fbounds-safety/70854

"cool" amazon prime video is moving things to "freevee" so that you have unskippable noisy BS ads continuously. I pay for a service so that I don't have ads, you don't get to add a "free" service and move all the content to that "free" service and act lack you're doing some good.JFC.

Even better, if you search through Amazon's documentation they explicitly tell you to upgrade to "ad free" (despite that literally being part of the reason I originally got prime, and they just retroactively added ads to an existing paid service), so I did, and still got ads. Because, get this, when you pay for "ad free" that doesn't cover their "free" videos.I do not understand why this BS is not fraud.

@0xabad1dea InfoSec folk in OS development: If I can plug this in without a kernel panic it is such a plain and unadulterated piece of media it’s probably not even been formatted
