@Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta @graf @catmanmancat If you can get your hands on a Toyota. And I mean an older year, with little/reasonable mileage. IMO avoid the new Land Cruiser, or shell out for the Lexus version if you want something off-road worthy. Maybe consider the Bronco. It's been out long enough that the bugs have been worked out, and getting after market parts for it won't be a PITA.

@TrevorGoodchild I swear I saw this dude (in the true pic) on my streetcar tonight. Same facial hair and glasses and wearing a black knit beanie hat. I watched him get off the train and walk down the platform. Skinny, poor posture, with a strange loping gait like his feet were too large for his body. Creepy.

@NoDoxGregBrady To ask is to answer. Color me surprised. They're a lot like the ones installed on the Paris Metro system about 20 years ago. They used to make this funny 'shush' sound when the paddles opened. And you better not dally; the pass interval was short to keep someone from trying to piggyback on your fare.
