I've noticed non-furry photographers are the most likely to unfollow me after a few days. Probably because I post most infrequently about it, and also there's probably less general tolerance for furry crap outside of tech disciplines

Nothing else is safe, certainly not basically every language other than C and C++; and nothing else has ever been fast either, it's not like even Java is fast enough to run on 2003-era microcontrollers embedded in tiny SIM cards!

Dunno why anyone is surprised that Technology Connections is aggressively anti-FOSS considering that he made a video on his second channel following up on digitizing analog video, and he went on a whole rant about every video-related related FOSS project he could think of when people kept asking for (& suggesting) alternatives to “do all the postprocessing in Premiere”, as if it's your fault if you can't afford $300/year for that shit.(Really contradicts his analogy about people suggesting FOSS software being equivalent to “saying ‘why don't you just buy a house?’ to someone complaining about their landlord”)

Switched back to Iterate as my go-to #CommonLisp iteration library. I'm one of the people who actually really likes LOOP, *except* it has no support for multiple return values, which I use incessantly. The only solution anyone seems to have is to use MULTIPLE-VALUE-LIST only to immediately destructure the list afterwards, which is both verbose and wastefully conses every single loop iteration. ITERATE is the only alternative iteration macro that's mostly like LOOP, and it is Lispier which is nice.

This C++ programming class is teaching about const *const, *const, const *, and such that even professional C programmers seem to fail to understand (I don't think I've ever once seen a constant pointer—rather than pointer to a constant—in any code other than mine) so that's a big thumbs up from at me at least
