@cy @outsideoutsider @avad counterpoint, false rape allegations are minuscule but we all know that pervasive rapists and abusers exist everywhere. I find this take to be still caught up in the mold of criminal/victim rather than recognize that such pushback against these viations of personal autonomy would be community driven and against all forms large and small.Example: A friend once told me about how one of their friends was outed as an abuser so they jumped him, beat him bloodly and then took him home and said you fucked up but we'll be hear for you. Honestly most comrade shit ever. The reality is the more communities are allowed to come together and pelt their abusers in public with batons and fists the less it will *need* to happen because it will become unacceptable.Right now we have people who do kill their legit abuser rotting in prison and what does that solve? Where is the due process for them? I'm sorry but I don't live in a world of hypotheticals. I live in a dangerous world where the police protect abusers in the name of impartiality. I will not be neutral in the face of oppression. If you remove the police and prisons from the equation you will be left with a wide range of ways to deal with abusers. Your uncreative mind can only mimic the state and I find your arguments unconvincing when met with the reality at hand.

@sj_zero @avad @outsideoutsider @cy this gets back to why the cops are never the solution and distort the calls for community autonomy assuming we all will act like cops given the chance.Would your ex have been able to convince people in your actual community and people who know you personally? How is having armed bureaucrats with the incentive to lie and imprison comparable to community defence? You all act like we'd go straight to death squads but I don't see it happening. What I see is everytime a cop is involved they make a bad choice and when me and my friends are able to address shit as out as it actually happens the better off we all are.I would suggest reading some prison abolition work and ask yourself does the current model live up to its claims. Does it solve anything it claims to? In my opinion what's happening now is worse then no system and I firmly believe we would be able to do better without.KYLR is meant to be shocking because we're sick and tired and we are smart enough to know our real enemies.Kill the cop in your head.

@Raspberry_Pi @TobyRobertsPi soooo what have you done to address the harm you caused in your 15 years as a tool of state surveillance? It's not an academic question but it seems like it's not somtlething you feel in any way conflicted about and that's a huge red flag.
