One of the things that really frustrates me about Discord's new policy is the fact that there's this YT channel, NTTS, that will cover Discord stuff, and they've made multiple videos that are basically "this Discord server/type of server seems basically designed to get vulnerable teens talking with pedos, and when I reported it to Discord, they did fuck all". And age verification will also do fuck-all to combat this because the servers full of creeps can just not mark channels NSFW because Discord never fucking enforces their rules even when people are obviously using the platform for evil

Question for ADHD-havers that I'm curious on: If we lived in a post-scarcity world, where there was no need to be productive, and you didn't need to like focus on stuff or anything, you could just do what you wanted, would you take ADHD meds? (Assuming easily available)

Okay, so, like I get that using parental controls to prevent kids from actually using a computer and having privacy and learning about themselves is bad, but, like, what if I want my partners to have control over what I do on a computer, at least a little bit? What if I want my computer to be set to floret mode? What about that?

This is one where like I genuinely am curious if there's any way I could do this while also still being able to have Linux be a hobby for me. I guess probably I could give my partners like permanent VNC access to my computer so they could take over sometimes, I could still stop it I guess, but I think that might be nice

If you see "A user you blocked has contributed to this repository" for Claude, please double-check that it was actually used for multiple commits. There are quite a few projects that are not vibecoded and currently have anti-LLM policies where they experimented with vibecoding and then decided they didn't like it, or where one or two LLM-generated PRs slipped through the cracks that should not be lumped in with projects making more serious use of vibecoding
