Folgendes: Sonntag ist in Berlin die Abstimmung zum #Klimaentscheid und ich bin Wahlhelferin und fänd's zum einen super nice wenn ich mich im Wahllokal nicht langweilen müsste und von Euch GANZ VIELE abstimmen gehen und zum anderen wär's nice wir würden was für's Klima machen

Ich habe eine Mail von meinem Hotel via booking.com bekommen, dass ich meine Kreditkarte verifizieren soll indem ich das Geld überweisen soll (was ich vor Monaten schon gemacht hatte) weil sonst meine Reservierung gecancelt wird.Hab dementsprechend eine reichlich pissige Mail an das Hotel geschrieben: "Please explain this as this request to enter my payment details and to transfer the money again seems like the highly suspicious activity that I would expect from a fraudulent website"

Das Hotel hat peinlich berührt zurück geschrieben, dass das IN DER TAT eine fraudulent message ist, die durch einen Bug bei booking.com ermöglicht wird und ich nichts tun soll: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2023/oct/23/bookingcom-customers-targeted-by-scam-confirmation-emailsNaja, so habe ich wenigstens das befriedigende Gefühl, dass meine fraud senses im richtigen Moment getingled haben.

@clive @pseudoramble @mekkaokereke that makes a lot of sense! I watched a couple of other videos from the channel and people from ATC regularly ask in cases of emergency and turnarounds about the number of people on board and about the amount of fuel left
