@mjg59 I keep saying I'll do something with my /60 of v6 space, and never do.

@mjg59 I hate kerberos, kerberos is awesome. There's a reason I can't kick my FreeIPA to the curb, as much as I'd like to. There's just something about NFS4 with kerberos security that's so brilliantly elegant.

@mjg59 my favourite a few years ago (for which I failed to submit a patch or report): `ListenAddress` in sshd_config can be called multiple times, but `BindAddress` cannot in ssh_config. So you cannot always ssh from the addresses with PTRs on a dual-stack host.

Outlook is a piss-poor excuse for a calendar.

like, I kinda figured from the malformed emails and icalendar items it was bad. But HOLY SHIT this is terrible. No wonder legacy business can never get anything done.

In the category of #IPv6 and #dns research questions: has anyone thought about doing selective DNS64 on dual-stack networks with NAT64?(boost for reach, etc.)

the concept is to only return AAAA records for native-ipv6 hosts, only return synthesized AAAA records for most IPv4-only hosts, and return A records for known-NAT64-broken IPv4 services (steam, spotify?) #ipv6 #dns

@foone my not-so-hot take: this is what Zones were on solaris (albeit with extra steps). container+os emulation/translation layer. but needs packaging. my also-not-hot take: itanium-based x86 emulation in the 2000s. (also, docker is *not this*. sadly)
