@Nonilex I actually said this exact thing to someone this morning. A military assault on Greenland would result in economic and trade sanctions which would kneecap the US economy very quickly. Staples like coffee, fruits, refined oil - would all skyrocket in price. Greenland comes up every time there is some other horrendous news: Venezuela, ICE, etc… but nothing more ever happens after it falls out of the news cycle - until the next time it is dragged out.
