@leo Yes it's sad to see how many people become so invested in the drama, not knowing that by engaging with Musk and by being so against him, they are elevating him and helping him. He can use that to paint himself as this speaker of inconvenient truths. That's how Trump also his power at the end. The energy against these people actually helps them much more than any support would

@BrodieOnLinux I wish more people actually listened to constructive criticism and were not like "I have been doing this for so long shut up"

What is the best way to send large media files? I hate those file hosting providers with their ads and timers. I want to send a bunch of files only for one person to download one time. So expiration date is not an issue.#tech #opensource #linux

@leo Are there any known substantial cases of espionage that are related to Chinese companies, or is it just because it's China? There are clear evidence of bad practices in US government and tech companies yet the US wouldn't like it non-US countries started banning their tech giants.

P.S : This is a reminder to support archive.org if you can. They help preserve what we created against the whims of capitalists. So many things would be lost without that amazing project

@BrodieOnLinux I did some C and I am currently learning Rust. What I find interesting is how the design of the language forces you to write safer code, not just when it comes to memory but it forces error handling more than other languages. The Option and Result enums are really great from I've seen so far. The Option enum makes it so that the Null is not needed anymore. Many design decisions have been made to make you write safer code without sacrificing performance.
