@joel I figured it out. I decided to check the documentation one last time, before I scratched the project entirely. In opposition to the tutorials I had been using, hugo now uses "hugo -D" to build the html, instead of the plain "hugo" I had been using. *sigh*

Anybody else starting to notice a little toxic creep that didn't seem present before? Nothing over the top, but maybe just a slight shift of pressure in the Fedisphere. I'm hoping it's just me.

Does anybody know of a good Linux podcast that isn't populated by Canonical or Red Hat shills? I can only listen to so many "muh stability" speeches before I start twitching, head rotating, spewing pea green soup. I don't even dislike Red Hat like most my fellow Arch/Void/Gentoo-loving-neckbeard-elitist peers, but I might start a proxy-hatred solely on principle.

@fatboy I keep forgetting about Sway. I had a less than favorable Wayland experience a while back and just blocked it entirely. I should spin that up in VM.

I always tend to forget some of the software I have been using the longest. I started using LibreOffice before I left Windows, when Microsoft stopped shipping Windows with Word baked in. I loved it right off the bat. Having adopted LibreOffice in the middle of my undergrad and in the middle of the writing of my second book, I couldn't imagine living without it. I am happy to support them. #libreoffice
